Nothing wrong with 4 doors and 8000 rpm!
Too bad we never got the CSX Type-S. All the awesomeness of the Civic Si but with some more luxury and prestige and even some JDM cred too! That same 8000 rpm AND heated seats and mirrors!

That was, in my opinion, the last great Honda sold in North America.

You couldn’t get an Si with heated seats?

4 doors and a 8k redline? Is that an E90 M3 in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? In all seriousness though, it is too bad we never got the CSX Type-S cause I would totally daily one of those. More reliable cheaper Honda for week, M3 for drinking gas and eating tires on the weekend.

Definitely an improvement over the stockies. Not enough to make me want one though...

The JDM Civic copied the CDM CSX. The CSX was designed for Canada, and Honda Japan liked it so much they copied it. So to be correct it be CDM.

Hm. I had those exact wheels and I feel inclined to suggest looking for lighter aftermarket wheels. Going from those (~20 lbs ea.) to a set that was about 16 lbs each was very noticeable especially given the K20's low torque.

Any specific suggestions?

I had an old set of OZ Superleggeras that were OEM spec - 17x7 +45. The current OZ Alleggrerita also comes in that spec too.
Enkei RPF1 is also an option but I don’t like the look that much.
That’s what I can remember for affordable lightweight cast wheels in OEM spec, there’s others out there if you want something different.
Edit: wanted to add the caveat that they _may_ be weaker than OEM wheels if you have really bad roads, and aftermarket wheels may be harder to replace later on (e.g. OZ Superleggeras discontinued). The RPF1 has been around forever though.
